Our Vision.
Learning in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) areas should challenge youth to use the knowledge and tools of today to support their own health and survival and to share this understanding with others around the world.
The STEM Exploratory Real/Virtual Environment (SER/VE) has been developed to encourage creative, exploratory, and communicative ways to share and develop STEM understanding.
Background of developers
Drs. Eileen O'Connor (an educator) and Dr. Tasha Manternach (a medical doctor) have combined their experience and vision to develop activities and resources that can be shared with teachers and students around the world. A vritual-reality environment and plentiful web resources have been developed to support several initial quests and exercises.
